Terms & Conditions

Last updated August 27, 2026

Important notice

These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and the person providing services under the professional name Matty Elio (“Matty Elio,” “I,” “me,” or “my”). They include recording and de-identified-use permissions, informed-consent, assumption-of-risk, release, waiver, and limitation-of-liability provisions that affect your legal rights. Please read them before booking.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not book or participate in a session.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

You accept these Terms when you book or pay for a session, affirm your acceptance during scheduling or checkout, participate in a free or paid session, or otherwise request that I provide services after being given access to these Terms. The version presented or linked at the time of booking will govern that session.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. Services for anyone under 18 require my prior written agreement and the consent and participation of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Nature and scope of services

I offer intuitive guidance, mediumship, channeling, and brief introductory conversations. These services provide a spiritual and reflective perspective. They may involve impressions expressed as words, images, sensations, symbols, perceived connections, or personal interpretation.

The 15-minute introductory conversation is an opportunity to discuss what you are seeking, ask practical questions, and consider whether working together feels appropriate. It is not a reading, mediumship session, channeling session, crisis service, or substitute for professional care.

Intuitive, psychic, mediumistic, and channeling practices are spiritual or metaphysical in nature and have not been established as scientifically reliable methods for diagnosing conditions, determining facts, or predicting outcomes. You are invited to consider what feels meaningful and leave aside what does not.

3. Not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice

Services are not healthcare, psychotherapy, counseling, medical or mental-health diagnosis or treatment, legal advice, financial or investment advice, pastoral counseling, or any other licensed professional service.

I am not acting as your physician, psychologist, therapist, social worker, attorney, financial adviser, clergy member, or other licensed professional in connection with these services. Any education, credentials, or professional experience I may have outside this practice does not create a professional relationship in that field.

Do not delay, discontinue, or disregard treatment or advice from a qualified professional because of anything discussed in a session. Consult the appropriate licensed professional regarding medical symptoms, mental-health concerns, medications, legal rights, finances, safety, or other matters requiring specialized advice.

These services are not emergency or crisis services. If you believe you or someone else may be in immediate danger, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service. In the United States, you may call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

4. Your autonomy and responsibilities

You understand and agree that:

  • you retain free will and sole responsibility for your beliefs, decisions, actions, and wellbeing;
  • you will not use a session as the sole basis for a medical, mental-health, legal, financial, relationship, employment, safety, or other significant decision;
  • you may question, decline, or disregard any impression or interpretation;
  • you will tell me if you feel uncomfortable and may pause or stop a session at any time; and
  • you will seek qualified professional assistance when appropriate.

5. No guarantees

No result, outcome, improvement, prediction, accuracy, or particular experience is promised. I cannot guarantee contact with a particular person who has died, that any perceived communication is objectively verifiable, or that every impression will be meaningful or accurate.

Any statement about a possible future event reflects an impression at a particular moment—not a fixed prediction or promise. Circumstances, choices, and interpretations can change.

6. Booking, fees, and payment

Current session descriptions, duration, prices, and availability appear on the website or booking page. Full payment is due when a paid session is booked unless I agree otherwise in writing. A booking is not confirmed until the scheduling and payment process is complete.

You authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the amount shown at checkout. Third-party payment and scheduling platforms operate under their own terms and privacy practices. The introductory conversation is offered without charge, is generally limited to one per person, and has no cash value.

7. Cancellation, rescheduling, lateness, and no-shows

You may cancel or reschedule a paid session at least 24 hours before its scheduled start. A timely cancellation will be refunded to the original payment method, less any third-party processing fee that is not returned to me. A cancellation made with less than 24 hours’ notice, a missed appointment, or a no-show is ordinarily nonrefundable.

If you arrive late, the session will ordinarily end at the scheduled time. If you are more than 15 minutes late without contacting me, I may treat the appointment as a no-show. I may make exceptions in my discretion for emergencies or unusual circumstances.

If I need to cancel, you may choose a reasonable rescheduled time or a full refund of the session fee.

8. Privacy, confidentiality, and electronic communications

I will use reasonable care in handling information you share. These services are not psychotherapy, healthcare, legal representation, or another relationship carrying a professional evidentiary privilege, and I cannot promise absolute confidentiality.

I may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; respond to a good-faith concern about imminent serious harm; protect a child or vulnerable person; obtain confidential legal, accounting, technical, or professional advice; collect unpaid fees; prevent fraud or abuse; or protect my rights or the safety of others.

Sessions and communications may use third-party services such as Cal.com, payment processors, email, telephone, video-conferencing, cloud-storage, and recording platforms. No electronic system is completely secure, and those providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Additional information about what I collect, how I use it, and your choices appears in the Privacy Statement.

9. Session recordings and de-identified use

Full sessions are ordinarily recorded. I use recordings to review and improve my practice, observe themes and trends over time, and provide you with a copy of your session. Notice that a session will be recorded may be provided through the website, booking flow, confirmation or reminder communications, meeting invitation, recording-platform notice or indicator, or an announcement made before or when recording begins.

By booking or joining a session after receiving notice, remaining in the session after notice is given, or otherwise continuing to participate while recording is underway, you acknowledge the notice and consent to the recording, storage, review, use, and provision of the recording as described in these Terms and the Privacy Statement. Continued participation following notice—including participation without objecting to or requesting cessation of the recording—is conduct manifesting consent. Where applicable law requires an additional or different consent mechanism, consent may also be obtained through the booking or conferencing platform or another reasonable method.

Whether or not a session is recorded, I may use material derived from the services—including questions, circumstances, exchanges, themes, patterns, impressions, messages, insights, and brief excerpts—in de-identified, paraphrased, adapted, aggregated, or composite form for any lawful business, educational, editorial, creative, research, promotional, or commercial purpose. Examples include books, articles, talks, classes, websites, marketing, and the development of future services or materials. I may change nonessential facts or combine material from more than one experience to help protect identity.

Without your separate written permission, I will not publicly use your name, contact information, image or likeness, recognizable voice, the identifiable audio or video recording itself, or details that I reasonably believe would allow an ordinary member of the public to identify you. Because someone already familiar with your circumstances may recognize an unusual experience, I cannot promise that no person could ever infer your identity.

To the extent you hold any intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or similar rights in a contribution you make during a session, you grant me a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and create derivative works from that contribution only in the de-identified or separately authorized manner described in these Terms. You will not have a right to inspect or approve that use or receive attribution, royalties, or other compensation for it.

A recording provided to you is licensed only for your private, personal, noncommercial use. You may not excerpt, republish, post, sell, distribute, publicly perform, give others access to, extract audio or transcripts from, alter or transform, create derivative content from, or use the recording or its contents to develop, train, test, or improve an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system without my prior written permission.

You may take private written notes for your own reflection. I do not promise to retain a recording indefinitely, so you are responsible for saving any copy you wish to keep. Deletion of an identifiable recording does not require deletion or recall of material that was previously de-identified or incorporated into a permitted work.

10. Respectful participation and termination

Sessions require respectful conduct. I may pause, decline, or end a session or working relationship if I believe the service is not appropriate, I cannot be helpful, a boundary has been violated, payment is outstanding, or conduct is threatening, abusive, discriminatory, sexually inappropriate, unlawful, or materially disruptive.

If I end a paid session for reasons unrelated to your conduct, I will provide an appropriate prorated refund or offer to reschedule. No refund is required when a session is ended because of serious misconduct or a material breach of these Terms.

11. Website content and intellectual property

The website and materials I create—including text, graphics, exercises, written summaries, interpretations, messages, session materials, and authorized recordings—are protected by intellectual-property law. Unless I state otherwise in writing, you may use materials provided to you only for your personal, noncommercial use.

You may not reproduce, republish, sell, distribute, create derivative commercial materials from, or use website or session materials to train an artificial-intelligence system without prior written permission. Ordinary sharing of a link to the public website is permitted.

12. Assumption of risk and informed consent

You understand that spiritual reflection, discussion of grief, and consideration of personal experiences can bring up unexpected memories, emotions, uncertainty, sadness, discomfort, or disagreement. You voluntarily choose to participate, assume the ordinary risks associated with that participation, and agree to monitor your own wellbeing.

You may pause or stop at any time. If significant distress arises, you agree to seek support from an appropriately qualified healthcare or mental-health professional.

Please read carefully — waiver and release

13. Waiver and release of claims

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU VOLUNTARILY RELEASE AND DISCHARGE MATTY ELIO AND ANY AFFILIATED BUSINESS, EMPLOYEE, CONTRACTOR, REPRESENTATIVE, SUCCESSOR, OR ASSIGN FROM CLAIMS, DEMANDS, DAMAGES, OR CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION IN THE SERVICES, INCLUDING CLAIMS BASED ON ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE.

This release does not apply to gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or any right or liability that cannot lawfully be waived. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive a nonwaivable consumer right.

14. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

Services and website content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, I disclaim all express and implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses resulting from decisions you make after a session. My total liability arising from a particular paid service will not exceed the amount you paid for that service.

The exclusions and cap in this section do not apply to gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a claim, you and I agree to give written notice describing the dispute and requested resolution, then make a good-faith effort to resolve it informally. The receiving party will have at least 30 days to respond.

If the dispute is not resolved informally, you and I agree to attempt confidential, nonbinding mediation with a mutually selected neutral mediator before filing a lawsuit. Mediation may occur remotely or in Bexar County, Texas. Unless we agree otherwise, each party will pay its own attorneys’ fees and other expenses and share the mediator’s fee equally.

The informal-resolution and mediation requirements do not prevent either party from bringing an eligible claim in small-claims court or seeking temporary or emergency relief when reasonably necessary to prevent immediate harm. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any other court proceeding must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Bexar County, Texas.

16. General terms

These Terms, together with the session description and price presented at booking, form the entire agreement concerning the services and replace prior discussions about the same subject. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your booking or rights under these Terms without my written permission. I may update these Terms prospectively; material changes will not alter the terms governing an already-booked session unless you agree.

17. Questions and notices

Questions about these Terms or notices concerning a session may be sent through the contact method provided on the booking page. Legal notices should identify the sender, describe the issue, and include reliable contact information for a response.
